How far along? 15 Weeks (Friday, September 7, 2012)
The baby is the size of a: Apple
New baby developments this week: "She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds" BabyCenter.
Total weight gain: It's hard to say...maybe 3 or 4 pounds still? lol
Maternity clothes? Nope, but now my baby bump is even more prominent, even co-workers are finally starting to notice (at least when I'm in my old clothes)! lol
Stretch marks? Actually, I am starting to see a faint stretch mark :)
Sleep: Yes!
Best moment this week: Getting to see my baby bump more!
Miss Anything? Nope, not really!
Movement/Feelings: Nope!
Food cravings: Still, anything salty or tomato-based! I absolutely have to have a jar of pickles on hand in the house -- my evening treat :)
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!
Symptoms: None! (although I am starting to go to the ladies' room a bit more frequently than normal) :)
Gender: I don't know yet...but I'm still thinking it will be a girl
